Bathroom Remodel

Here’s some of the documented process of a bathroom demo and remodel. You can see some of the progression of removing drywall, changing the framing to make room for shower niches, and the hotmop. You can visualize how rancid it gets in a little 6’ × 5’ space. We set up fans to minimize smell. These clients conveniently needed a whole house fan, so we installed that before the hot mop guy came.

You can’t see in the pictures but we also prepped the slab by scraping the excess thinset. If this isn’t done, you’ll have to float the tile higher, which isn’t the best solution as this floor transitions to carpet in the bedroom.
