Bathroom Leak Investigation

We diagnosed this difficult master shower leak. It was already looked at by 2 other plumbers. We initially splashed water into the overflow to see if it leaked and it did.

We plugged the bathtub and filled it with water to see if there was any issues with the bathtub itself, it was looking questionable and so we let it sit for awhile. We then capped the waterspout and shower-head to see if that stopped the leaks.

After a series of tests we diagnosed that the shower-head was leaking down the shower wall and into the handle. The water spout, and the overflow was also not properly sealed.

After tightening / adding silicone to the compromised areas, we let the homeowners know to run the water and make sure no leaks are found before scheduling a drywall patch on the exposed ceiling.
