How To Troubleshoot A Bathroom Leak

Finding out where a leak can be very difficult depending on your situation.

When you come across water spots, mildew, or potential mold on drywall… the first step is to remove a portion of the damaged drywall to expose whats behind.

We initially splashed water into the overflow to find out if we could isolate where the leak was coming from.

We capped the water spout and shower head to see if we could narrow it down.

We turned the water on and viewed the drain apparatus from underneath to see if was anything visible
