Hot water taking too long to get to your sink?
This rather complicated re-circulation pump will allow warm water to stay at the faucet. It works by monitoring the water temperature with a "comfort valve" which opens, thus allowing hot water to flow into the cold line. This basically creates a loop in your plumbing and keeps hot water on demand so that you don't have to waste gallons of water while waiting for hot water to travel all the way through the plumbing from the hot water heater.
This system was installed on a 75 gallon hot water heater with 1" outlets/inlets which meant we had to build this complex setup. It has a 1" check valve with a bypass function.
If you have a bathroom or kitchen faucet that takes too long to get hot water this is the system that will remedy the situation!
