Vaulted ceiling conversion

This old Fallbrook home had low flat ceilings which we converted into vaulted ceilings with tongue and groove pine planks. This opened up the living room incredibly! We were able to make the same room feel twice a big without changing the footprint of the home. This involves quite a bit of work but the end result is well worth the investment. We had to remove all the old insulation in the attic space, change the roofs framing components and set a beam to support the roofs weight, and then we finished things off with tongue and groove pine planks.
