Water damage! Not words a home owner wants to hear. As you can see there a numerous ways that water can wreak havoc o. Your home! The damage occurs when a substrate like plywood, OSB (a type of flooring/roofing) gets wet and expands thus separating the glued layers of wood particles forever ruining the woods structural strength and uniformity. Other items like drywall, particle board and carpeting soak up water like a sponge which distorts the products and traps lots of moisture which will lead to mold growth!
